Here are two easy questions for the "Been there-- done that" folks...
1. I presently have SAE 30 oil in my TR3 transmission. Like many, my
Triumph has a small leak -- just a drop or two now and then under the
tranny. My Bentley catalog states that I can use SAE 50 oil for hot
weather. I'm considering changing over to minimize the little leak. Will
it help at all?
2. Last summer I cracked the sliding portion of one side curtain, and just
ordered a replacement from the TRF sale catalog. I sure don't want to crack
the new one putting it in. It looks to me that I can carefully arc the
replacement just enough to pop it into the slide. Right????
