I'm replacing the selector shaft seals on a late TR6 gearbox. The plugs
retaining the detent balls & springs are the pressed in type. There was
something on the list the other day on this subject but I can't find it now.

How does one remove the plugs? My plan is to drill a small hole in the plug
and insert a sheet metal screw and then pry up on the screw head. Any
better ideas?
