Once again I seek the list's advice....
After retrieving my car from the barn (winter storage), I found the
drivers seat cushion to have degraded a little more than last year. I
dismantled the seat, sanded and painted the frame with Rustoleum - looks
great. The question at hand is do I purchase an entire new seat foam kit
(via TRF) for $200 or try to repair this myself. I understand that I will
need to purchase burlap (or similar material) nevertheless to finish the
seat since it is not included in the kit -- just the foam!
Also, any opinions on vinyl repair kits... I tried Permatex, but the black
color finishes gray (weird, huh!). Otherwise, that's another $300!
