Hi again,

I've also put my lower A-arm assembly back together and will reinstall
onto the frame hopefully tonight and then complete the vertical link and
actually have one entire corner of suspension back on the frame.

The British Leyland manual I am using (AKA Bentley's) specifies the
torque on the big nut & bolt that runs through the trunnion as 50
ft-lb. When I did that, the trunnion was very, very, very stiff in
pivoting inside the two lower wishbones. With that high a torque on the
bolt, I fear my wonderful new (and expensive) bushing kit of nylon top
hats and rubber o-rings won't last long.

Is this torque spec correct? My other reference, Haynes, doesn't list
that particular value.
