Cliff,

I seem to recall that the 70's Chevrolet Vega used an oil pressure switch
that is identical to the three connector TR unit. You should be able to
pick one up at a local auto parts store (NAPA, etc). Failing that, I think
the fitting is 1/8 NPT.

Subject: Oil sender switch

My oil switch, not even sure what it is called
exactly.. but this morning
when I fired up my TR6 the sender on the block
(next to the oil filter)
was leaking a lot from the plastic head where the
three wires connect.
Problem is there isn't one in stock near by and I
was wondering can I
temporarily block the hole with a, looks like 3/8
or 7/16 fine thread bolt?
TIA
Cliff
