OK- So we're playing top this? I still have a regular turntable, albeit a
newer Sony, but my old sound system was a 70s Hitachi, and I had it rigged
up better than my JVC surround system! You could shake the house down with
the "THX" noise from the beginnings of movies- and play it loud enough, and
you got the "background hum" on the Enterprise in "Star Trek- The Next
Generation"...(I'll bet most of you didn't know there was "Space noise" in
there did ya?)

Currently I have a mix of old and new- JVC surround sound hooked up to
Technics 110+1 CD changer, RCA TV & VCR, Sony Turntable, and a Wollensak/3M
Model 8055 8 track modular... Oh, also the good old Grundig AM/FM/Shortwave
with turntable, and adapted for cd input(connector- thats all!)

My records go back to the 20s, with a good deal of Monkees, Hermits,
Beatles, and assorteds....

Triumph will have a CD, so I can cool out to jazz enroute....

Scott
