I'm doing a frame up restoration on my '71 Mk III (Com.# KF770L).
My question: I have a crack in the frame channel on the right side
(engine manifold side) where the right rear lower control arm bolts
through the frame channel. This is a high stress point and I'm
wondering if I should just find a replacement frame or fillet
and weld the crack. I'm crazy enough to think that I can make
this car concours eventually, so this might be an issue later on.
