Brian,
I think the new pads may have done it for you. I had the same problem on
my 72" TR6. I tried the anti squeal pads. They worked for about 200-300
miles and then disintegrated. The real fix was, and has been, an anti squeal
kit from moss which included springs that tension the brake assembly. Highly
recommended.
