Hi Brian
I would agree with Randall on this, just be aware that the last thing you
want in the ram(s) is grit / dirt, so make a good job with the tape. This is
all we did even on site when changing / repairing hoses on JCB excavators.

| If it were me, I'd just drain and discard the hydraulic oil and tape over
| the exposed ends with masking tape during transport, then refill with
fresh
| oil after reinstallation.  But, Aircraft Spruce would be one source for
