In my request for parts, engine and advice Don Spence dspence@oanet.com
replied...
>In my business (as well as in most others I suspect) we tell clients
you can have it cheap, fast and with high quality...
>as long as you only choose two of the above.
What i (Larry) had asked for (among other things) was ...
> basically i am looking for the quickest and most
> economical way to get back on the road.
Dons closing remark was ...
>Skateboard?
I would like to close with these thoughts...
i have never used this list to be sarcastic or insulting. i've found
everyone except Don Spence to be helpful and encouraging. I would like
to recommend that we all stay away from disparaging remarks. What good
does that do ? I was 'looking' for advice as well as parts. The word
cheap and economical are two opposite words. Economical can be equated
with 'value'. Mercedes Benz makes an entry level 'economical' (for
Mercedes) car. For Don the very basics of running a business are
'Product Pricing Placement and Promotion'. Notice the word Pricing.
Pick up any text book on starting and or running a business to verify
this fact. Don I am sorry i am not as wealthy as you. I do 'shop' at
places like Walmart and Best Buy. Don please forward the name of your
business to the list so uninformed people like myself will not bother
you in the future.
