I will sign up for the transplant today [already have the 5 speed]
[anyone want my tr 6 j type transmission? -- overdrive broke [destroyed
the sprauge clutch] and end of mainshaft chewed up bad enough to need a
rebuild. I have decided to go the Toyota route, so my old tranny is
surplus [the box has been rebuilt and is strong, but now needs a new
mainshaft!]. The OD could be used for a core exchange I believe.
Question: how is the driveshaft mated to the yoke from the Toyota? Do I
need to have the driveshaft modified for the conversion?
