This way always works for me...

#1 It makes things much easier if you string together a few plastic zip
ties and strap the clutch fork lever ("the drop arm sticking out") to one
of the bolt holes on the transmission. This will prevent the lever getting
knocked around and the bearing sleeve falling out of place while your
getting everything lined up.

#2 Get one jack under the engine and one under the tranny, Use a few big
blocks of wood under the engine so you don't dent the pan.
You will be loving life if you have a wheeled floor jack for under the
transmission.

#3 lug the transmission onto the jack, raise /lower jacks till everything
looks square, throw a pillow over the e-brake and straddle the whole thing.
Put one foot on each side of the bell housing and work the thing forward
with your legs while using your hands to keep the thing lined up.

Don't forget to cut away the zip tie when you get it all together.

Good Luck
