Actually there are two companies making electronic Speedos, used by 
all the Great Racers they glue magnets to the insides of the wheels, 
mount a pickup and a conversion computer and end up with a Speedo 
accurate to .01 MPH, of course it only goes to 50MPH (then wraps 
around) and they cost around $1000, but who's counting <G>
