Listers,

Today I had an interesting visitor at our plant. A gentleman came in and
wanted to know if we would be interested in making forgings for the tie rod
lever of a Triumph Standard 10. BTW our company is a forge shop located in
Connecticut, we make stainless, carbon, titanium etc. forgings for hardware
to aerospace applications.

He said that there is a small but lucrative demand for these parts in the
racing circle, as this lever is used on a variety of cars and the only supply
is what can be found in the junk yards. Racers now have to machine these
parts from solid billet if used parts are not available. Does any one know
if this is true or is this person unaware of availablity form other sources?
If anyone has any info please let me know. From the drawings this part looks
an awful like the tie rod lever on my TR3A which can easily be bought from
the Big 3. Maybe Jonmac can shed some light.

Who knows, \fFor the right price maybe we'll get into the manufacture of some
Triumph Standard 10 parts.
