Jonmac, all I can say is I would love to rent this 2000 saloon, if I were
able to be in the area. I can drive a Spitfire or TR any day of the week
(and hopefully soon in a Vitesse).
Unfortunately, it's unlikely I will be able to contribute in this way, even
if you do purchase the car, as there doesn't seem to be a trip to the UK in
the cards I'm holding.

could you rent out the car ? If it's only 6 times a year or whatever, the
income may not be enough to do much good ...
