for my 72 gt6. i am having a bear of a time trying to find the throttle
linkage parts. one great supplier (ted) says he may have used parts. my
question... i have about 1" of free slop in the linkage. this is between the
3 pins and 3 levers down there between the carbs from the cable to the center
pin driving both carbs. is this 'normal' wear and tear ? if i back the
throttle cable adjuster all the way out i still can't get all that slop taken
up. this means i have 'play' at the gas peddle - equating to delay and not a
wide open throttle position if i push the pedal down all the way. do i have
to live with this ? anyone thrown the whole silly thing out and made their
own ? anyone know who would have 'new' parts in stock. i've tried vc,trf, bcp
etc.
thanks ! larry@ehc.org
