Remember a while back that there was a large discussion about Tow dollies &
Triumphs. I don't recall however, the concensus of the list members.
Assuming that the rear diff and gearbox is topped up with oil, will using a
tow-dolly adversly affect the gearbox when the vehicle is towed for quite
some distance? Am I thinking about MG's mistakenly?
Specifically, I am wondering about Spitfires/GT6's and TR6's. I Tow my
GT6's around quite a bit with my GrandAm, and am wondering about possible
damage (to the GT6!)
I've probably put 1000KM on my tow dolly so far, maybe 6 trips. I am
possibly contemplating a single larger trip (400-->1,100KM) over a 2-day
period in the next week or so.
