When I was at I.U. in Bloomington Indiana, one of my classmates spoke of a
"tar tar" one day. It took me the longest time to figure out that he was
referring to a "tire tower". Then again, as a Canadian at a US university, I
am sure my pronunciations gave a bit of humour (sorry-humor) also.
