Bill,

Shrink tubing is what I would use. If it is not thick enough...add another
tube on top of it. That should do the trick.

Hi All,

I have the interior of my 74 TR6 removed to install a new floor pan on the
driver's side.

When I unbolted the seat belts from the floor, I noticed that the plastic
that surrounds the cable is cracked and torn up. Is there a way to install
new plastic to enhance the cosmetics? I thought maybe something like
electrical shrink wrap tubing might work, but it may not be tough enough.

Because of the bolt eyelet at one end and the release mechanism at the
other, I'm not sure how to get new plastic, or tubing, over the cable.

Any ideas?
