Trunk Plug

In the trunk of my TR6 I discovered a large hole that seems to be about the
same size as the
2 in the passenger compartment 2 3/4"? Mine was covered with sound deadening,
located directly below
the key lock and was a metal plug that did not look original. I couldn't find
a listing for it is it correct?
