Firstly, well done on finding a long door model, there are few
about. I am six years into my own 1954 model. It would be of interest
to me and the list to post the chassis plate details, you may even
have a very early car. This is located on what you call the firewall
I think, on the engine side under the hood. I may be able to help
with a few bits if you go the purist route.
