I paint my Fram's as well.......'HAMMERITE'  has a nice 'Hammered Deep Green' 
that matches nicely.......Lowe's?......buy 3-4 filters at a time on 
sale.....paint'em all at once.......if you can't find a source call Hammerite 
at 1-800-733-4413........(of course I own the entire company!!!..<g>...I 
wish!)
