Subject: NOS piston rings OK?
Hi listers,
Is it ok to use twenty plus year old NOS piston rings? They have been
compressed inside new old stock TR3/4 liners and everything is at least 20
years old.
Or have the rings lost some specifications?

Why take the chance ....get a new set....aprox $50.00 and is cheap "piece of
mind" insurance. Since you are that far with the engine, I wouldn't give it a
second thought, just the thought of getting 0 compression after assembly would
make me get another set.
