Hi Dan,
Just a side note on the dual point distributor when used with a 6A MSD. 
The MSD now controls spark and dwell the need for the dual point 
distributor is taken out of the equation. All the points do is act as a 
trigger and very little current is going through them . As a matter of 
fact, I don't have the install instructions at hand but I think you 
might have to disconnect one set of points for the MSD to work.
