On mechanical fuel pumps such as most of our cars are equipped with if you
still are using one of the original A/C rubber diagphrams and your area is
forced to use this @#$#@ reformulated (whatever it's called) gas, I think
maybe a lot of your problems with contamination are right here, this gas will
eat up the very old rubber gaskets, I had it happen on 3 fuel pumps in 2
years, plus 2 pressure regulators, this was also the why Purolator (NAPA) had
a recall on the round disc style regulator, just a thought. "FT"
