Technically, some such items might better be labeled as "NORS" or New Old 
REPLACEMENT Stock. A genuine Lucas lens in an old red and black box would be 
NOS. (The same genuine Lucas lens in a current green Lucas box is just a new 
part; eventually it might become sort of "NOS"!) An old Beck-Arnley "replica" 
of that same Lucas lens would be NORS.
