John, I had a set of these stone guards as well on a TR7. Yes they do sit away
from the headlights about a = in. This was not a problem because they sat
further out into the rubber retaining cover.But as I recall there were two clip
sets. One made the guards sit further away than the other(That set was a
problem becuase the headlight would get stuck going up and down. My covers were

Hi everyone, I bought a set of those chrome wire stone guards from Moss
because I thought they looked kinda cool. I installed them with the clips that
came with them and they sit about a half inch or more in front of the
headlight. Looks a little strange and was just wondering if anyone else had a
set and if theirs were the same way.
