wheel advice

Would anyone know if a wheel
15 x 6 1/2''   with a 4 1/2'' back space and + 18 offset or
16 x 7'' with a 4.7'' back space and + 18 offset
fit on a TR6?
They can be drilled out any bolt pattern.
I know the original wheel is 15 x 5.5 with 3 1/2 back space.
I am not sure how much extra back spacing the car can take or how to measure
it.
Still on the wheel hunt.
