I have a recovery bottle on mine also, it's an aftermarket plastic thing
that really looks awful, but it keeps the antifreeze out of the Bay.
Getting the coolant to go back in the radiator was a challenge - for a
while, my method was wait for the engine to start running too hot, pull over
and let it cool, then refill the radiator by blowing on the overflow tube of
the overflow bottle. Not very tasty. I tried making a gasket and sealing up
the button on top with high temp caulk, but it didn't work too well. So I
went to NAPA and got a 7lb cap with a gasket and that does works well. I
matched up the necks to make sure it was deep enough. I can't really tell if
it is letting the coolant back in or preventing it from overflowing in the
first place, but the radiator stays full.
