Wednesday I ordered a T/R 3 parts cataloge from Moss U/K to carry in my boot
as I think it is a very nice parts book, well today it arrived at N/C for
the
book but the postage was 12.25 GBP or $23.00 U/S, I think I am now
restricted
from ordering from the U/K at these shipping prices. "FT"

If it was a conventional factory type parts catalogue in a ring binder,
Fred - I'd say you'd got away with an average price:)
Our mail services are running at a consistent loss (so the Post Office tells
us) and it's come up with a new proposal I heard on TV last week. In the not
too distant future, postal rates will be charged on the size of the
envelope, not the weight. P.O. wants little envelopes - not parts catalogue
versions.
Just gives further credence to that old saying. When visiting the UK, bring
a wallet full of clothes and a suitcase full of money.
