To all interested in the Lake Tahoe Triumphfest event, I just called the
hotel they are using (Horizon Hotel & Casino in South Lake Tahoe,
Nevada) at
1-800-648-3322 and there were only 2 rooms left at their special
reserved
rate of $89 per night. The 2 rooms were smoking rooms.
Me and the wife and new baby are not smokers and I can't stand that
smell
(no offense intended) so if anyone with a non-smoking room cancels, I
certainly would like a chance to switch. I'll check every so often with
the
hotel on my own, but maybe we can finagle something if someone does
cancel.

If all the rooms are already taken at this early date, I may not be able
to make it this year. Especially with the increased price of fuel.
Can somebody get more rooms reserved at the special rate or get some
additional rooms reserved at a close-by hotel to cover the overflow?
