Aluminium mouldings
I also saw that Ebay sale for those cockpit mouldings and thought that it must
have made run out of aluminium for those mouldings and used the nearest
repalcement on hand which in this case must have been gold or platinum.
Starter
I can't really push start it as it would take at least 4 people to move it out
of the garage and over the hump, also and more importantly I am afraid that
moving it that short distance might mean complete annihilation in the clutch
area if it is in fact the clutch.
I installed a borrowed but that starter jammed after the first few turns. It
was an old starter M418G 25537 starter which I suspect was not the full quid (
a bit faulty).
Oh well I will have to wait for my mechanic to finish reconding my old one and
try that one.
