As you may know, I am rebuilding a '60 TR3A (TS71470E on engine) and using
some parts from a ?'66 TR4 motor(#CT24256E on engine). Since I have two
distributors, I think I get to choose which one I want to use. Are they the
same? I noticed the 3's distributor cap looks as though it's got two levels
of wires going to the plugs, however the TR4 motor simply has 4 level plug
wires (like my Volvo). I would think these two caps are just designed
differently, but is this really the case? Do both dizzys use the same points,
etc.
Thanks,
Paul Dorsey
