Hi again

Well now that my heater is shot I would like to shut off the coolant flow at
the water pump heater pipe adaptor.
Since I don't plan on driving much in cold weather this seems like a good
plan while I see what I can dig up for a core replacement.
Maybe I can purchase something with a cap and just replace the existing one?
Does anyone know of anything like this or other ideas? I stuck a wooden
dowel in the hose and clamped it but it still leaks a little.

Thanks, Fran
