I just had my 60-TR3 radiator re-cored (more tubes & fins, & no crank
hole) & based on the advice from the list I had the radiator shop put
a modern neck on it for allow for operation of an overflow bottle. I
am using clear tubing between neck & the bottle & can verify that
that aspect is working perfectly using an off-the-shelf at NAPA 7lb
cap.

I also had the radiator shop put a "bung" in so I could use a modern
"screw into the radiator" thermostatic switch to control the
operation of the electric fan. I still need to find a switch that
closes the circuit when it reaches temp - the first on opened the
circuit. :-)
