re:safety glass from also rattling?

Remembering how little push was necessary to outer piece of plastic to
separate the two, I figured that the rattle was mostly due to flexing.
Glass wouldn't flex besides it's easier to maintain clarity. Plastic just
isn't going to hold up to weather and use.
