Bob, this data may be correct, but is certainly incomplete. There were more
models of distributor used on the TR2-4A than are listed here. For example,
40842 was for low compression TR4, 40850 was for TR4 with the optional
1991cc engine, etc. Also, both 40735 and 40795 were used on some versions
of TR3A/B, as well as TR4 (according to both Lucas and Standard-Triumph
documentation).
However, more information is always interesting, thank you for posting it.
