The owner of the car mentioned in an earlier post and duplicated below is
very motivated to get rid of the car. He said, "Best offer by Christmas".

Subject: XJ6 Parts car? for sale
I was telling a coworker about the XKE a friend of mine is trying to sell
for parts. The coworker also has a jag he'd like to get rid of before the
snow flies in earnest. The car is a '74 XJ6. I have not seen this one, so
I don't know if it can be saved or if it really is just a parts car. It is
in Newton, MA. He said that the body is poor, the interior fair. The
mechanicals are in good shape except that the brakes need work and the
bleeders are frozen or broken off. He does not have pictures at this time
but is happy to talk with interested parties about the car. He'd like $1000
for the vehicle but is very willing to negotiate. Please call him at
