My thanks to the many who responded.
Got the seal and "chrome" strip onto the windshield!
Used no KY jelly, and no sealer - I think the sealer would have dried and
hardened before I got all of the seal on rendering it useless.
I followed the several suggestions to start at top center and worked my way
around the sides doing the bottom last. It was slow going, but use of the
suggested "tool" - Duct Tape to hold the seal in place as I went worked
great.
Now I have to put into frame. Two nylon cord method. Use KY jelly here?
What about sealer here. Some said no sealer anywhere...
