Has anyone thought about speeding up there TR3-4 clutch action by installing
the larger diameter TR4-A hydraulic clutch pipe?

I think Triumph upsized the diameter of the pipe to speed up the clutch. But
they also swapped out the large 'multiple coil springed' pressure plate for
the smaller 'single diaphram-spring' pressure plate.

Standard-Triumph Service Bulletins mention complaints of slipping clutches on
TR4s (factory goes on to explain that they are not slipping.. just a little
SLOW to engage.. and must be lived with).

I'm wondering if stomping on a TR4 clutch using FASTER TR4-A hydraulics could
hurt the old-fashioned pressure plate, bearing or linkage..

Any TR3/TR4 drivers out there that think they're clutch action is too slow
and would be improved with faster hydraulics?
