Jim,

They do appear to be right side up.

I don't think they look 'straight' some how. Did you place the black bumper
brackets on top of each to assure that they were the same shape? Is the
distance under the rear valence where the bottom edge of the brackets bolt
to the frame the same for both sides? Is the welded bracket inside the
bumperette spaced the same on both sides to allow them to be parallel? Is
the angle of the hole through the body the same on both sides? You can check
this with an ~18 inch long dowel of appropriate diameter. Do have the
correct 'long pipe' spacer for the hole in the body?

Good luck!

Please take a look at the four pictures of the rear bumpers in:

http://s148.photobucket.com/albums/s31/grandfatherjim/TR3%20progress/

This car was hit in the rear way back in its past. I would like to know
which bumper is correct - to me the left looks like its top is too far out,
but the right looks like its top is too far in. (The bumpers cannot be
swapped to the opposite brackets.)

Do they both need adjusting?
BTW do I have them on right side up?
Thanks,
