Bob,
You might have your friend contact Deves Piston Rings. They were very
helpful for me. I ended up buying a ring gaping/grindy thingy that worked
out excellent to get the rings mating good and the gap correct. I seem to
remember that the lady at Deves pre-gapped a set of TR6 oversize rings and
they fit perfect right out of the box. I have some pictures of my ring
