Did the Vitesse 6 even have a temperature gauge ?  I thought that was one of
the "Sports 6" modifications from the Vitesse 6 ?

But the 121997 P/N both contradicts the TSB, and makes more sense.  If we
substitute that number in the list given by the TSB, it all seems consistent
except perhaps for the Sports 6 using a voltage stabilizer.
