Just caught this; I use an old pair of my trusty,
supple tig welding gloves. Considerably more feel
than Mechanics' gloves with similar protection.
No substitute for bare flesh by any means, but at
about the same or lower price these are the bee's
knees.
Be certain to get TIG gloves NOT the heavy MIG gloves.
A somewhat tight fit works for me, after some use,
they will conform to the shape of your hand.
McMaster-Carr has a nice selection, or just pop into
your local welding supply shop.
