As it happens, I just installed a new cam from Goodparts (Richard Good).
Richard strongly recommended that I use his flat ground tappets to assure the
cam lobes did not get ground down. I believe he feels that the flat grind
assures full contact between the tappets and the cam lobes and thus avoids
