Hello everyone.  It's been over a dozen years, so for safety will be replacing 
the rear brake flex hose soon.  Haven't looked at it in a long time, and 
haven't crawled under the car yet.  Still, it looks like the flex hose is 
fastened to a hard pipe leading forward, and a union box that splits off to the 
two rear brake cylinders.

I suppose it's necessary to undo the union box so the flex pipe can screw in 
without being impeded by the twisting of the rubber flex hose.  That about 
right?
