Arguably more important: Do you really want "stump-puller" lower gears in=
stead of more long-legged lower gears?
Spitfire MkIV ratios: 1-3.51; 2-2.16; 3-1.39; 4-1.0GT6 ratios: 1-2.65; 2-1.=
78; 3-1.25; 4-1.0

Mark is right.=C2=A0 Since the gearset has different ratios between the MkI=
V set and the GT6 set, the gear on the GT6 input shaft will not mesh with t=
he other gears in the MKIV set.

You will have to change out the entire gear set with matching GT6 gears in =
order to use that input shaft.
