 That's interesting.=C2=A0 Mike works fine at any speed.=C2=A0 I connected =
the cable to the long linkage that runs behind the carbs to the crank arm.=
=C2=A0 Plenty of throttle action.=C2=A0 I used this same unit on my TR8 unt=
il I wrecked it.

I put an Audiovox cruise control that looks like the one at the link you=20
provided in my TR6 and it only works up to about 45 mph.=C2=A0 The problem =
is=20
that the unit is too weak to directly pull the throttle linkage.=C2=A0 I ma=
de=20
a lever for it, but the cable linkage doesn't have the range to open the=20
throttle enough.=C2=A0 A possible option is to put a much weaker throttle=
=20
return spring in place of the stock one, but I don't consider that safe.

Electrically connecting the Audiovox unit was very easy.=C2=A0 If I recall=
=20
correctly, it just had power, a connection to the brake pedal, and a=20
connection to the coil to monitor the RPM.=C2=A0 For the power and brake=20
pedal, I think I just a double bullet connectors for a quad bullet=20
connectors in the dash/pedal area.=C2=A0 For the coil tach connection, I us=
ed=20
a piggy back spade connector.=C2=A0 I put the controller in an existing hol=
e=20
in the dash support under the radio. It is all removable without=20
damage.=C2=A0 If I remember right, pressing the clutch causes the RPM to=20
change, disengaging the unit.

If anyone made this unit work, please reply to the list as I'm=20
interested.=C2=A0 I'm more after speed control to avoid going too fast than=
=20
efficiency.
