Even if the ENGINE may not mind cruising at 4K rpm, I do not.  =20

The Toyota tranny is quoted at 80 MPH at 3K RPM.  I think this correlates wi=
th 5th gear ratio of 0.75.  I would love to have that ratio on the Miata tra=
nsmission. =20

Some trannies have optional gear sets to select your ratios to suit your nee=
ds.  Maybe Miata offers a similar option. =20
