All this EV bashing reminds me of the picture of the Model T being pulled o=
ut of the mud but a farmer and a team of horses and the farmer thinking all=
along "These things will never catch on."
Anyone who expects a new technology to catch on with a straight line growth=
curve is not being realistic.=C2=A0 There are many supply chain and infras=
tructure issues that need to be worked out and this is a chicken/egg relati=
onship between these issues and EV acceptance.=C2=A0 Heck, in the early day=
s of gas-powered cars drivers had to stop at the local dry-goods store and =
buy "cleaning solvent" to power their cars.
EV's have many fewer moving parts and hence are more reliable and, except f=
or the battery, are less expensive to build.=C2=A0 And battery technology i=
s evolving as we speak.
But back to the topic at hand.=C2=A0 This new "Triumph" resembles the TR3 i=
n the same manner that a Picasso painting resembles reality. Yeah, some of =
the elements are there but they are not coherent.=C2=A0 The styling does no=
t inspire me, but that is just my opinion, for what it's worth.
